The Block Research has created a report called "The Consumer Crypto Catalyst: Decentralized Applications for Everyday Users". It provides 4 Sections to explain the industry, which includes defining the various sectors within crypto such as gaming and infrastructure, analyzing the market and venture funding trends, as well as crypto initiatives happening within Fortune 100 companies. Further insights are offered on barriers ro mainstream adoption, as well as reviewing the history of regulatory actions and legal approaches to crypto so far.

Reading it, we can't help but think of the surge in consumer apps being developed on SOL & Ton. Many devs have started to build efficient mini-apps on Ton and DePin protocols on Solana. We can already use Ton to call taxis with crypto, or even earn from sharing your wifi. We aren't quite near the maturity of web2 applications, but the variety of frameworks being built on are creating some very interesting user experiences already. The utility of Web3 is just getting started🚀
